Last Post

I found this last post sitting here, so after I press 'publish', it'll be the last post from this blog.  Instead, I'm working on another website, which will feature my photography sessions.  I'm excited!
And....go!
Ciao and much love, Monie xxxxx

Finally after "years" she's a fully fledged Brownie!

This little guy was helping me weed by picking up fat, juicy worms.

Back at it

I'm not going to make any excuses, other than saying, it's time to get back on the saddle and get on with it.
I'm talking about everything in life that makes me a happy person...exercise, photography, exploring, gardening & of course, my first loves, my family. (definitely not in that order!!)
And this little ol' blog of mine makes me happy, even if it's just Mum who reads it, (thanks Ma!)
So with a dose of Sunday happiness, a nice snuggly rainy day, it's time to move forward in a positive direction.

Yesterday, Jaimie had her 7th birthday party at Bewilderwood.  You know how much we love this place and it just gets better as they continue to add more to it.  It was an exceptional Autumn day and the kids didn't stop running, sliding and giggling all day long.

I created a fun smilebox album for Jaimie's friends which you also can view here..http://www.smilebox.com/playBlog/4e44457a4e7a45334d6a4d3d0d0a&blogview=true

And here are some photos to share now...

Which way??

Lets go!

School Activities

Tanzin's year have been practicing hard for their production of Cats, which they performed for us last week.  Oh, how we all love Mr Mister Mistoffolees and Memories!  It was beyond fabulous.

At the Royal Norfolk Show, our budding scientists were busy at their school stand.

Whilst the big girls just wanted to have a go on all the rides!!

Ah, now this is the most competitive father in the world.  JP on his most fav day of the year,  Sports Day.
(Yep, that's a beanbag in his mouth, guess it made him go faster!!!!)

With our Goddaughter, Julia

We went out in the rain to see the ladies line up in their pink tractors today, all for Cancer Research.  Fantastic to see.  http://www.ladiestractorroadrun.co.uk/ladiestractorrun/Home.html

Wedding of the Year

Last night, we celebrated the marriage between Thomas and Samantha.  It was held at Sam's home, and who cared if it rained a bit, we all had a brilliant time.  The girls didn't stop dancing and Tanzin was determined to catch Aunty Sam's bouquet!  We painted a 'Just Married' sign for the car, complete with the beer cans to see them off.

Pure Love

It is with the deepest of sadness to tell you that our beloved Granny has gone to heaven.
She was our strongest family link and with the chain now broken, I just can't imagine how life will ever be the same again.
Her 4 beautiful shetland ponies driven by John Parker from home to the church was her last wish.

"Family Chain"

We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved your dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
